The project deals with the demolition of the former Palast der Republik in the heart of Berlin. Symbol/Monument of East Germany and Russian Constructivism the building will be replaced by the old 'Palace' that was standing there in the 16th century according to the latest news. A multi-texture work is proposed here in different scales leaving fertile traces of a dialogue through the city's inhabitants. Old clothes from the PDR's labour become gardens, the Spree turns into a swimming pool, the old carpet becomes a cover for the new u-bahn station..
